Process engineering, dynamics and unit economics are the cornerstone of Petrocontrol's APC training seminars. Petrocontrol offers advanced, unit level, APC seminars that build the APC knowledge on a foundation of the process engineering and economics of the units.

• Wide cut fractionators: Modeling and control of main fractionators: Crude unit, Vacuum unit, FCC, Coker, Visbreaker, hydrocracker and others. Emphasis is on crude units.

• Narrow cut fractionators: Modeling and control of distillation columns, from simple light ends separators to complex superfractionators.

• FCC unit: Modeling and control of reactor / regenerator, fractionator and gas plant.

• Coking unit: Modeling and control of drum fill, drum switch, fractionator and gas plant.

• Visbreaking unit: Modeling and control of reactor, fractionator and gas plant.

• Reforming unit: Modeling and control of feed treating, reforming reactor and separation section.

• Alkylation unit, HF and sulfuric acid: Modeling and control of feed ingredients, reactor and separation section.
